THE GROUP PROFILE

The foundation of the Elginkan Group, proud to have produced the first in many fields, in service of the Turkish industry, is laid with the Ekrem Elginkan Engineering Bureau in Ankara, in 1950. The first activities were central heating installations, urban drinking water pipeline and city network, dams, railways, highways and contractual works. Later, "Ekrem, Cahit and Ahmet Elginkan Collective Partnership" was founded by Ahmet Elginkan and his sons Ekrem and Cahit Elginkan.

The Group heading for industrialization starts the production of Sanitary Fittings under the name of the "E.C.A. Presdöküm Sanayii Limited Company" formed by the initials of sons and father in 1957.

The Group has reached its present product range by including in its activity matters, production and marketing of valves and sanitary fittings, ceramic sanitary wares central and individual heating and cooling equipment, gas and electrical water heaters, household appliances, cast iron products, molds, food and catering, construction, industrial raw materials, from the day it was founded.

While the Elginkan Group runs its activities with integrity from raw material to sales, the planning and execution of this chain is realized continuously and mainly with information dealing and managing within the company and among companies.

The Elginkan Group is active today in various sectors with its 3 000 employees in 19 companies. It is already presenting quality products to the consumer with trademarks such as E.C.A., SEREL, ARSEL, EMAS, ODÖKSAN, ELBA, AR, YAK and SPİL SEREL.
